GMA’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is very excited for her upcoming primetime epicserye “Amaya” in GMA-7 Network. Marian plays the lead role “Amaya”, a tribal princess turned warrior. Her two leading men are award-winning hunk Sid Lucero and model-turned-actor Mikael Daez. “Amaya” is said to be the biggest and most expensive opera produced by GMA-7 to date. It is also the first historical soap opera. “Amaya” is a story about Bai Amaya, Bai meaning “Princess” in Islam, set on the pre-colonial Central Visayas. The story dates back to the 1500s.

Marian Rivera’s nemesis in “Amaya” is Rochelle Pangilinan. Also in the cast are Gardo Versoza, Lani Mercado, Raymond Bagatsing, Rochelle Pangilinan, Gina Alajar, and many more.
